This policy covers the website dk-squared-studio.com. It is operated by David Kuchel, trading as DK Squared Studio, a sole proprietor based in Germany ("we", "us"), who is the controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Contact details are in the Impressum.
The short version
This is a static website. It has no accounts, forms, cookies, analytics, advertising or third-party scripts, and its typefaces are served from this site itself. The only personal data involved is the technical data any web server needs in order to deliver a page, and your email if you write to us.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, which processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. To deliver the site and protect it against attacks and abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data about each request, such as your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser type and the referring page. This data is kept only briefly in Cloudflare's systems. We do not evaluate it ourselves to identify visitors.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in delivering a secure, reliable website. Cloudflare may process data in the USA. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Cookies, analytics and fonts
We don't set cookies, use analytics or embed content from other websites. Our fonts are hosted on this site, so your browser does not contact a font service such as Google Fonts.
Contacting us by email
If you email us, we process your email address, your message and anything else you choose to include, only to deal with your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or a purchase, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise. We delete the correspondence once your enquiry is resolved, unless we must keep it for legal reasons such as tax retention duties.
Links to other websites
This site links to app stores and other services, such as Google Play. Their own privacy policies apply once you follow those links.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data (Art. 15), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or erased (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise them, email info@dk-squared-studio.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state where you live or work.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy and its date if the website changes in a way that affects your data.
